Anyone have experience w/ 5-Star Shine, as adverstised on this website?
Thought I'd ask before I doing any waxing!
Any other feedback, specific to Honda paint is appreciated.

| Honda paint doesn't require anything special. In fact, other than some German paint jobs, most paint care is pretty much the same no matter which car it is on. The quality varies a little from one manufactuer to another, and japanese paint jobs are a little higher quality than US ones, but typically you don't have to get special paint care products for any of them. Those companys that market for specific manufactuerer paint jobs are just slick marketers. You can use the same waxes and sealants on any car. I've been in the detailing business for nearly a decade and the only reason I choose one wax over another is just to enhance different colors. The type of paint really matters very little when it comes to wax. |

Hello,
I have a Sliver 2003 EX and after reviewing the info on this site I got down to these links and so far I'm very pleased. I hope I get through the winter and still happy.
Be very careful with the Clay Bar. Nice and light. I just used soapy water on the area as I used the clay bar, rinsed and re-washed. Then went with the 3-in-1 then sealed it. You put the 3-in-1 on and can take it off almost immediately. The go with the sealer and that has to dry for a bit but don't pile it on since you don't need to. Then they say wait 12 hours and if you like you can built the sealer up as much as you want. Some say to wait 12 hrs between more sealer applications. By far this is the easiest route I have found to protect my vehicles. Hope it lasts over the Winter.
I used the process on my wife's 1997! CRV. Man does it look good. BTW we park outside so I need all of the protection I can get.

You might just have to copy and paste these links to the browser.
Now I have to sift through and find the exact POLK speakers that will fit my Pilot Doors with NO Alteration. Pain in the butt. Too much conflicting info on the site.
Hope this helps,
