If it was a fight, they'd call it.

They should just cancel the rest of the NFL season, because the BEARS are making everyone they play look ridiculous!

I haven't missed a Bears game since the '70's (on TV - I wish I could afford season tickets!). It's about time they got it together, and SO SWEET!

I know it's only week 5, but it sure is fun to watch. :2: :2: :2:

With Grossman and three other Gators on the roster it's hard to disagree with ole Bill on this one.

it was hilarious...Alex Brown got an interception yesterday..had good room to run and fell down.... he will be well roasted by his team mates...

todays expected blowout is why NFL needs flexible scheduling for MNF... who will wathc the game after the Bears have taken a 3 touchdown lead in the first quarter!!!!

A very interesting MNF game. Hard to belive the Bears won. The Bears had more turnovers than offensive points!

Can't wait for the 49er's to hand the Bears their first defeat.

Go 9er's

Yeah...umm - THAT was the Bears PLAN! Just trying to help out the ratings. :o

I've never seen such a complete collapse and bizarre ending. It was reminiscent of the entire 2001 season. I just hope they learned to stop listening to the Super Bowl talk and keep their heads in the game.

so other than the bears, who do you guys think will be top contenders for the championship this year? I see indy, patriots, and chargers. I don't see the saints, seahawks, eagles, or broncos in that category yet, even though their records are pretty good.

I miss the days of the dominant teams, such as the 49ers in the 80s and early 90s.;)

I find it difficult to believe in Indy...their D is more suspect than last years... can they win in January...

Difficult to count out the Patriots.. but they have more holes this year then before...

Saw saints on monday night...they seemed real...

but if the NFC playoffs go through Chicago..it will be difficult for teams to win at Chicago in January

oh oh...here comes the first injury...

although Mike Brown is not as good a player he was 3 years back and keeps missing 1/2 a season each yer...for some reason they always play well when he is in the game...

remember the freak reception when he save the ball for a touchdown after another bears player fumbled the reception and he was there diving for the ball for a touchdown?

Dennis Green choked...well he fired his Offensive coordinator for it

although I didn't like them trying to run out the clock by giving the ball to james every single play, most other teams (offensive coordinators) probably would have done the same. the reasons I didn't like it are:

- the bears stacked the line and there was no way to run through/around them
- the cardinals had some success throwing to their receivers...why stop what they were good at?

some people said leinert could have thrown an int...but look what happened when james ran and fumbled!

green should fire himself. :p

7 and 1 now. What happened to the Bears from last week. Remember the dream season from 85-86. Miami was the only team that beat them. Could this be a pattern?

yes I remember the 12-0 bears lose to Miami in 85. If this means we win the superbowl then great...

but Rex looked bad again today

Way to go Fins! (Unfortunately, I picked the Dolphins to lose in my pool).

Chicago looked as bad as the Dolphins have all year!

Yeah, the Dolphins invite them down to South Beach, supply 'em with hookers, booze and warm weather and we see what happened. :3:

interesting weekend...the bears who gave up the least amount of points all season give up 31 and lose. the 49ers have given up the most points only allowed 3 and win. :D

See, now that's just outrageous. You oughta be ashamed of yourself. No, not the gesture (I'm fine with that). But how on G*d's gray Earth does someone from KY become a Dallas Cowboys fan? I can see Bengals, Browns, Colts, Titans, Bears ... or even Cardinals/Rams (depending on your age).

I'm just a home town guy.

I know what you mean, but I'm encouraged by the fact that, for the first time this year, the Bears were able to turn things around mid-game. Up until now, a bad game was a bad WHOLE game - they've either been on or off for the day. Last night showed that the team, and especially Grossman, could shake it off and get on track. The O-line was like a whole new bunch of guys in the 2nd half.

I agree on the O-line... but actually Grossman did lead the bears down for a touchdown against the vikings...
