I guess I could have posted this in the detailing forum as well, I just zaino'd the Pilot for the first time, took about 5 hours I guess. The pics actually don't do it any justice. In some of the pics you will see the wheels I'm going to put on the pilot once I can gather up some cash to get my x-terrains. Maybe after christmas, gotta have enough money for presents for the Kiddo's.

Mirror like hood.

Another look of the wheel.

Boomer,

That Zaino polish job looks great. The shot of the hood really does look like a mirror. I bet you kind of hate to take it and get any dust or dirt on it. I would like to see a few pictures after you get the 06' TL wheels installed.

Looks good:6:
I've used Zaino and it took me a loooong time to apply it and buff it out. Did you use the accelerator stuff that makes it quicker ?

thanks guys,

tsmltd, I know what you mean, just today, I took it out and it started raining :cursin:, but after the initial zaino coats, all you need to do is use the Zaino wash and good as new. I will post pics after getting the wheels put on.

The Other Tom,
I did use zfx accerlator and it definitely makes a difference in drying time. I've tried with and without, and the accerlator is definitly key. I noticed without the accerlator, it was much harder to buff off, but not much. I believe the key is to let dry completely and use a thin film of polish just to where it's a haze. the zfx will defintitely make it easier on you.

I KNOW a lot of elbow grease and hard work went into that incredible shine!!

Your Pilot looks awesome....
