| Hello all. We're looking for a used Pilot and have heard that there are a couple of upgrades in the 05' from the 04 Pilot that may include an airbag upgrade. Can anyone tell us if there are major differences between those two years or even in the '03? We have two little ones and so a major safety upgrade could make a difference even though the price difference is substantial. |

This thread might get you started. But it might not be 100% accurate or 100% inclusive.
Also, the "difference in Years for Pilot" thread mostly lists the things added, but not all of the things fixed. For example, the 04 might be subject to more recalls than the 05, with the "fixes" built in on the 05 and later years.
There is also some "tweaking" between model years where performance improvements or some of the little annoyances were corrected. For example, owners of the 03 models used to complain about rough edges on the back side of the steering wheel buttons. This was changed somewhere between 04 and 06, but I'm not sure where. |
