Our 04 pilot did great in snow with the goodyears...and i mean great as in had pretty decent forward backward traction..but not a lot of stability. Just put goodyear fortera tripletreads on..waiting for it to snow!! Great tires so far in the wet and try though. amazing wet traction. But in the snow last year accidently drove into a snow drift up to my doors. a mile away from home..no cell...high winds and like 15 degrees darn it my pilot pulled itself out somehow and i got back home. I was so glad, we had a RAV4 before this..and the Pilot can handle much more snow. I Like that this is like a real 4X4 system..a lot of AWD system 2 or 3 wheels will spin...i noticed all 4 spin on the pilot which is very good. but yes, honda has AWD technology to the max.

The Forteras are great tires.

I put a set (the original Forteras, not the tripletreds) on my F-150, and they are by far the best tires around. Great wet and snow traction, and excellent ride also. Drove like a completely different vehicle with these tires. They will go on our Pilot as soon as it needs new tires.

I recently put a set of Assurance Tripletreds on my Acccord, and they are outstanding also. Seems like Goodyear has a winning design with these tires.
