| I have noticed on my 06 EX-L That when I am in full auto and then switch to defrost for the windshiled, it goes to MAX hot regardless of the temperature that I have set. Does anyone else have this problem?? |

My wife's '04 EX-L does the same thing. I believe the car is programmed that when in auto mode and hitting the windshield defrost, it goes into "nuclear" mode - highest speed fan, highest heat setting. You then knock it down from there.
