03' vs. 07' Tranny/Ride - Click HERE for Original Thread

We wrecked our 03' Pilot in a snowstorm and replaced it w/ an 07'. The tramsmission on the 07' seems to have a bit of a lag when stepping on the gas. I thought the 07' had more horsepower...

Did the transmission go via/ major changes since 03'?

I did notice the shifter arm works much better on the 07' though :)

Also the ride on the 07' appears to be a little more loose/top heavy. The ride seems to have a little less lateral stability. Not sure if that's the change in tires/suspension/etc over the years or not.

Love the fact that the Pilot now has heated seats and mirrors. Now if US Honda can 'get w/ the program' and add 'daytime running lamps' and 'washer level indicator' like the Canadian version I'd be tickeled to death.

Peace :1:

The 07 has the redesigned tranny and throttle by wire so it is an entirely different animal then the 03.
