I just replaced the coolant cross over gaskets(o-ring,t-stat,etc)Once I was done and running the engine the idle was revving up to @ 1500 then down to @ 800 constantly.I did the idle relearn process and it seemed fine, now @ 4 days later it is doing it again.I did a search and saw the coolant temp sensor was mentioned as a possible cause also the throttle body. When I did have it apart I did clean out the butterfly on the tb w/ carb cleaner,do you think I could have some gunk in the tb causing the problem? There is no check engine light either.Anyone have a similar problem or any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is the thread you were looking at, but there are a couple more ideas in it.

Yes that is the link I was looking at Thanks.
Now the check engine light is on,it is idling normal now though. The code is p0505 The service manual diagnostic has you relearn the idle 1st.So I am going to try that later today hopefully and see what happens. Thanks
