My 2006 4WD Pilot tilts to the driver-side on the rear. After few dealer visits, I figured out that the tilts is because of the ground clearance on the driver-side rear is 7 inches and the other side 7.5 inches. The dealers only measure ride height, and claim that there is no problem.
Given the experts here, I wonder if anyone knows how to adjust the ground clearance? How hard it could be?
Thanks

It's really not adjustable. Assuming the springs are correctly seated, the seats aren't broken, and you're not carrying 300# of contraband hidden in the rear 1/4 panel :D, the only point of adjustment is to replace the springs and check the control arms and/or spring mounts for being bent. Aside from that, replacing springs is the 'fix'.
BTW, that difference may end up creating wear issues due to camber, although 1/2" generally wouldn't do that. |

I wish that I have something to carry. But, most time, I just drive to work by myself.
I noticed the problem when the car is new on my driveway (not dealer's driveway! )
I went to the dealer several times. But they do not want to fix it. Guess it is not an easy job.
Now I understand why. When I inspect under the car, the seating of the spring is not centered.
Other pilot owners, should you check your cars too?
Thank you for the insight. |

If you believe that there is really a problem and the dealer doesn't want to address it, you can try another dealer or ask to make an appointment with the Honda factory rep for your area. |
