I found few light scratch on the 2nd row right door.
What is the best way to remove those light scratch?
Additionally, I found out a chipped paint on the right rear fender. It is small but it is noticeable.
Again, what is the best way to remove or repaint it by myself without having paying lot of $ to the dealer to do that?
any helps would be very helpful.
thanks. |

For chips, get a very fine tipped paintbrush and dab on touch-up paint. Clean the area thoroughly before, and when applying the paint, lightly dab it on. You can do it in a couple layers if that will get your a smoother finish. After it sets for a while, buff the surface.
For light scratches, a detailer can often buff the scratches out, but there has to be underlying paint. For deep scratches, you can again try the touch-up paint.
If you do the touch-up well, it's often not noticeable unless you look hard. The colour of the paint makes a difference too. Silver is much easier to deal with than a darker colour, like red or blue. |
