I'VE NOTICED A WHITE POWDER ON THE INSIDE WINDOWS ON THE REAR DOORS. ITS ALMOST LIKE A SALT RESIDUE BUT ITS RIGHT WHERE THE WINDOW MEETS THE UPRIGHT SUPPORT BEAM. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS OR KNOW THE CAUSE BEFORE I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER.

Yup, i noticed the same in 2006 EXL (and before that a 2005 EX).It certainly looks like salt residue and is difficult to remove.Mine is on both sides and is most noticeable on the small side windows.Have no idea what it is though.

If you do a search for salt in window, there are pictures in the post- see if that is what yours looks like. I had in once in my 2004 while we were living in Chicago, the service people had no idea how it got there or why, and we haven't had a problem with it since.

Thanks for the info sheryl. Seems to be quite common. I guess I'll get the molding replaced before the warranty is up. Thanks again.
