I own property in Pennsylvania and Florida. I live most of the year in Florida, live in PA in the summer months.
If I buy a Honda from a Florida dealer, I should be able to order a HC extended warranty online while I'm living in PA, right (using my PA address)? The price of the warranty in Florida is more than double the rest of the country due to that pesky law that Florida residents must buy extended warranties from Florida dealers.
Do they check the VIN number to see where the car was purchased? If they do and see that I bought it in Florida, will they make me buy my HC warranty in Florida?
Anyone know? Bueller? Anyone??

Which address is on your driver license?
PA or FL?
I might be wrong, but having a PA address does not make you automatically as a PA resident thou. |

Here's an application form Link. I don't know the level of verification. Should be no problem at all if you are officially a part time resident of each state. Honda shouldn't care where you bought it, just that you are not a resident of Florida while purchasing it. It can't hurt to try, the worst they can do is refuse to sell it to you. |

If they really verify, they might check where it is registered. |
