| I've seen a lot of posts about taller drivers concerned with leg room and comfort, but has anyone of shorter stature had problems with front seat discomfort? I currently drive another SUV and I am experiencing horrendous neck pain. I'm only 5 feet tall. I used to own a Civic and never had this problem. Are the seats in the Pilot designed the same as the Civic? TIA!! |

I'm not sure if the seats are the same as the civic (probably not). But my wife is the primary driver of the Pilot and commutes a total of 1.5 hours a day in it. She is 5 ft tall and is perfectly comfortable. Honda seems to be the only manufacture that accomodates both my wife and myself (6 ft) really well. I would suggest that you take an extended test drive in a Pilot if you are considering one. We took ours for an afternoon before we bought it. |

Hey there shorty! I have you beat by an inch and stand a whopping 5'1". I've only had my Pilot for 9 days and am still on my first tank of gas, but I've experienced nothing but comfort. The longest drive has been the hour home from the dealership. I drive about a half hour to work and back each day and I've not experienced any discomfort. The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes it's hard to get in the Pilot. I didn't get side steps and if my pants are tight, it's sometimes just a tad uncomfortable. Oh well, that's just a reminder for me to get my butt on the treadmill.
Why do you think you're experiencing neck pain with your current car?
I don't know if the Pilot seats are designed the same as the Civic. I've owned four Accords and now a Pilot, and I've always been comfortable. Hope this helps a bit. |

This does help. I think I'm currently experiencing pain because the seat hits me in all the wrong places and puts my spine out of alignment. I feel like I'm being pushed forward, with inadequate lumbar curve.
Would love for more shorties to weigh in! Thanks! |

| I'm 5 feet tall and have been comfortable while driving an 03 Pilot. My longest drive was 10 hours. And don't worry about hitting your head on an open tailgate as some of the taller people have reported. |
