Check fuel cap... - Click HERE for Original Thread
rosewood
For a day and a half, when we would start the pilot (06), I would receive a check fuel cap error message. So I did just that ... many times and earlier today it just went away.

Any ideas?

That has happened on my wife's Accord. The service people said that if the cap is not on properly (at least 3 clicks), the light could come on. If the light comes on, and you tighten the fuel cap properly, they said "it may take a few days" before the light goes off on its own.
