| Just got an 04 EXL, still under factory warranty (34,000 miles). I did not buy this from my local Honda dealer, but from a Chrysler dealer in another city. I want to take it to our local honda dealer for an oil change and overall checkup to ensure all is ok. Is this kind of "checkup" covered under my original factory warranty, or will I be paying for them to look through everything? |

But if they find anything wrong that is covered under waranty, you won't be charged for the repairs. Like humanoid pointed out, I expect you will be paying for the diagnostics.
However, ask the dealer up front what the inspection charges will be and if any of the diagnosics will be covered if a waranty related problem is found. |
