I've been a member of a number of BBSs over the years. Never seen systematic abuse of posting privileges allowed for so long.

Mabe you need to look at the "whole" of your posts.

So who do you work for?
---------------------------
Location Michigan
Occupation auto industry
---------------------------

Next question

Are you in marketing and this is part of your job?
or
Are they paying employees to evangelize on the Internet?
or
Are they encouraging employees to evangelize on the Internet?
or
Have you thought up this tactic yourself?

TROLL!!
He's probably a sleazy car salesman at a GMC stealership and is trying to drum up business.

Go away, stop waisting our time with your fraudulent posts. Go over to a Ford Explorer forum and hassle them.

That is hilarious!
I looked at this link and some of the pictures.
Check these out and you will see why GM is taking a beating.
All the employees look like they are in their 50's or 60's - they all probably make more than most of us, some are doing work a high school graduate (or even less) could do for $6 an hour. And these folks are retiring all the time. Get rid of UAW and GM would be successful.

Any comments on that there DON?

I am not trying to defend "Don Willems", but before anyone starts badmouthing Don, I think we should be a bit cautionary. We do not know for sure that this person is truly Don. It could be anyone who wants to play a joke because he/she has a personal vendetta against him. Has anyone actually called him up and confirmed that it is actually him who is posting these messages?

Don, here is the problem. Folks here have a wide diversity of interests. If you look through the entire site, you will see folks folks talking about Stoner's Invisiglass, Autopia and Klasse Waxes. Politics (oh God forgive me , here we go!:p ) What type of oil to use and when to change it (Oh Plleeasse forgive me, I won't bring it up again). We talk about cameras, and a multitude of other topics. We do center around a Honda Pilot.

We do welcome discussion on other vehicles. Shoot, a good portion of the people here have sold or traded their Pilots and have other things such as Toyotas/Lexus/Scions. But we generally have discussions.

You on the other hand are so focused on the Arcadia that you have talked about virtually nothing else. Every post of yours that I have seen is about one thing, the Arcadia and its superiority to the Pilot. Thank for the Edmund's article. I was unaware you had double posted it. But the problem is you have had nothing else to say. If you can expand you scope I think you will fit in much better. The Arcadia may be a fine vehicle but (1) it is a first year vehicle and you will be hard pressed to build a case for superiority of the Arcadia over anything with no track record and (2) Its a GM. Most of us have previously owned GM/Fords and we learned our lessons. For me I have owned a 72 Pinto (fun college car, especially with the fold down seat, ooops here come the wife- moving on), a 78 Fairmont, a 84 POS Voyager, a Chevy Corsica, a 01 Impala, and an 00 Malibu. I have given GM and Ford more than enough chances and listened foolishly to their rhetoric and promises that "this time is better", "this time is different". I think a lot of us are of the opinion - prove it. For the most part we have owned Honda Pilot relatively trouble free. No vehicle is perfect (except mine which if trouble free) but Honda and Toyota have PROVEN track records. (GM and Ford so also but the wrong direction. There is a reason GM and Ford are in such deep financial trouble.

WE welcome you to comment on the Arcadia but can you PLEASE find some other topics to discuss. All you do is praise the Arcadia and try to dump on the Pilot. Admittedly the Pilot is showing its design age but will be redone shortly. When that happens then the Arcadia will look old and so the cycle goes on back and forth. Quit trying to hard to prove you are right every time. This is a Honda Pilot board. How would you feel if we invaded you Arcadia board in mass and posted the type threads you post here? I doubt too many would be happy. Step back and take fresh perspective please. You aren't going to win and points with the strategy you have taken so far.
