Hi, I have noticed that my roof rails have been stained (white), the dealer probably waxed them with the same product they used on the paint and probably the sun dried the product and left a white residue.
How can I ger rid of this, or with what kind of product?
thanks

| Try a soft bristle tooth brush first. There are chemicals out there to help but they may not be necessary. Usually the problem is the texture of the plastic that holds the wax not any bonding issues. You can also use some toothpaste as a cleaning agent but you should wash this off completely when done or you'll have the same problem but with toothpaste instead. |

I had some of this residue on my roof rails and a little bit on my grill and high pressure water got it off. I simply went to a coin operated car wash and put the nozzle about an inch away and it simply washed away (I did scrub with a soft bristled tooth brush on the grill though because I didn't want to spray the water @ that high of a pressure in there) |
