Next week I will have long self drive and boarder crossing almost in the desert.
I was recommended by friend to use the white grease spray to protect the hood of my pilot from the road grime and tough desert sands.
Grease will be removed upon arrival by regular car wash.
Any idea if the above sounds OK ??? |

| This is the second time I've heard of such a thing and both on this forum. I really think that would be bad idea. Grease would probably ruin your paint first before protecting from road debris. Why not just get a front end bra or a hood deflector? 3M makes that film you can put over the front end as well. You've got many other choices over the grease. |

| There is also a spray on bra that is available and it washes off completely with soap and water after drying...when you return. |
