This past summer I took the '06 Pilot on a canoe trip. It doesn't float very well. Just a warning.
The drive was from Barrie, On to Val d'Or, Qc.
1000 kms. One way.
Two canoes on the roof, three adults, two kidz, gear and food for a week, Outback installed and loaded. We were packed.
The Pilot performed amazingly. I was passing slower vehicles on hills and just generally thrashing it. No problems. It was the first real test of it's capabilities and I am quite impressed. |

Sounds like a great trip!
Dunno what an outback is (except for a subaru) but if you have pics from the trip, please share them :needpics: |

It is a cargo carrier that plugs into the trailer hitch. |
