It's great having you back even if you don't have your special edition Pilot anymore, the partial convertible one with the beer cooler instead of the third row.
And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone else without Pilots too, Jay!
And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone else, even those of us who still have Pilots (checked with wife, yep, we still have a Pilot).
We're thankful for so much this year, especially that we're healthy, warm, and together. We've had a real struggle with Lyme disease for nearly two years. Unfortunately, it was missed early on by a couple of doctors and later treatment decisions (several months of multiple oral antibiotics) were just not well informed by a friend whose a self-proclaimed specialist in a rather controversial field. After a couple of months of daily IV-therapy with a new self-proclaimed specialist, we're hoping it's finally behind us. It's amazing how much vitriolic disagreement there is among doctors and patients about how to treat progressive Lyme Disease. But, thankfully, we're hoping this will finally be behind us. The ordeal has helped make us much more thankful for the ordinary goodness of life and love. |
