I bought concert tickets for my wife...Wow, they are SUPER expensive now...I had been promising for years to take her and finally got em for her Christmas present.

I had to pay $400 each for 1st Mezzanine. First level was over a grand a piece. We are going on Friday night 12/14. I can't wait, its going to be a fun weekend...no kids!

Anyone else see the show?

Good for you that you can afford so much. Personally I wouldn't pay that much if if included a backstage pass with a personal performance of the..............well whatever nature.:D

I hear what your saying. Don't get me wrong, I normally don't spend friviously, I just wanted to come through with my promise. I would just as soon buy parts for my NSX.

I actually think it will be a good show, she has such an awesome voice.
I haven't been to a concert in years.

I wouldn't go if it were free, but I'm trying to think of an entertainment or sporting event I would pay $400 to see live.

Hmm ... nope, nuthin'.

My wife and I go to Vegas a few times a year and we did see Celine a year or so ago at Caesars. I can tell you this, I was by no means a big Celine fan but the show was really good, she has a great voice and puts on a great show. It's not too long either, only about an hour an fifteen minutes long. We were in Vegas a month or so ago with my folks and they went and saw Celine, my dad was not too thrilled to be going but was pleasantly surprised afterwards.

Thanks for posting, that is good to hear.

I know how most people feel, that is a lot of money to spend for an hour and a half, but you got to enjoy your life sometimes and forget about the mighty dollar now and then.

The wife and I did attend a few months ago, and we were not disappointed. 1st level is not bad at all. Even the 3rd level is not bad.

Well, it was a great show and as an added bonus, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were in attendance. It was interesting to see the crowd react to celebritys. Tom and Katie entered with about 10 security personell just prior to the show. Tom was shaking hands, signing autographs, and people were taking pictures with their cell phones. He was actually a pretty good sport. At the end of the show, they exited under the cover of darkness.

The collosium seats 4100 and there were only a handful of empty seats. I heard that after the last show on Saturday, she brought her husband and son on stage. I read somewhere it was her 717th show at Caesars.
