Mud's not a problem if you rinse it off promptly, but rubbing it in is H311 on the finish. |

My kids probably did that artwork this morning :D
Smiley face appropriate because I'm just about to rinse all the mud off, said mud was still wet this am, so it went on the finish smoothly.
Car was recently waxed so I think it will come off pretty easily.
I'll go back today on foot to take some photos of where I did all this mess.
I almost got seriously stuck 3 different times. Had to get out and stick chunks of concrete and boards under the tires to get traction.
Lesson learned..... It is VERY important to keep wheels pointed straight ahead when rocking back and forward to get out a hole that you dug yourself into... |

Yea I know.... the fun took place about 400 yards from my house.
Drinking was involved..:rolleyes: Got there by driving next to ditches... not too proud to get in the car when drinking alcohol, but again... stayed off the public roads to get to the fun! Not privately owned land, but didn't touch a concrete road once.
Once you get sideways in the mud, it is sometimes ( drinking :rolleyes: ) hard to remember if your wheels are pointed straight. My buddy reminded me about 50 times to straighten my wheels as I was spinnin' myself both backward and forward.
He is the one who got me started by taking his 2000 Isuzu Trooper through the swamp first. Told me that my Pilot couldn't even think about trying the same stuff. He was probably right because he has a true 4 wheel drive vehicle. Granny gear and all....
But, the Pilot went a lot deeper into the muck and came out unscathed.
Remember that we down in the sunbelt rarely have any conditions where we get stuck and spin hopelessly. No snow around here, so the only times to get 'stuck' are when you get stupid in the muddy ruts that you purposely go looking for. |

Oh yea, I forgot.....
Notice in the 1st pic all the mud slung on the driver's door. Notice the absence of mud on the window?
That is because I had the window open and found all that cr*p on me and the interior door/switches the next morning. Didn't realize that I was covering my Pilot and myself with gooey, sticky mud at the time.
