I am considering changing the garbage Goodyear stk tires to a Bridgestone HL Alenza
Does anyone know anything about these, they seem to be very good for the Pilot
Can anyone reccomend a bigger size with the stk rims??
If you put 17' on it, where could I get them? Can I use the Ridgelines?? How about an 03 Acura TL with the 17 x 7's
Or the MDX from 2007
If I am going to pay, might as well do it right

| Rob, both the MDX and the Acura rims will work on the Pilot. Check out user reviews at tirerack.com, they should help you out a lot. |

I put stock sized Alenzas on about 2k ago and they have corrected many of the complaints about the GYs. They've proven much better in rain and snow.
The improvement in handling is such that I see no need to go wider.
You can use first generation MDX rims, TL rims , RDX rims on the pilot. Ridgeline and second gen MDX will not fit.
If you have an 05 or later Pilot, make sure that the rims are TPMS compatible. |

did you get the Bridgestone Alenza in the 235/70 16's size
and you said it was OK
The cost of Acura rims will add about 700 bucks, is it worth it |

Yup, I went with stock size.
The one immediate thing you'll notice as you pull out of the tire store is slightly heavier steering which is to be expected given the heavier tire. Any brand heavier tire will do the same thing.
Cornering is far more stable and consistent than with the GYs and I do have moments when I go faster than I should, driving winding and undulating country roads daily.
I think the 235/70 Alenza reaches the goal I was seeking to reach had I flipped to 17 inch mdx/tl whel/tires with the improvement in handling, grip, traction. In short going to 17 isn't worth it.
Heres the GY v Alenza comparison from tire rack

Tks for the input, you save me about $700(MDX rims).
You're description is exactly what I envisioned. I am confident the
B Alenza's will be a signifigant improvment over the stock Intergrity's.
I will stay with this thread, you are right
Have a great holiday

These are not even close, 2 different worlds
I was considering the Cross Terrains or LTX instead of the Alenza. Price is better on the Bridgestone.
I may go for the Ridgeline 17" rims for the next set of tires, with the Alenzas
The rated #4 on the list, does anyone know about the Conti Cross Contact LX.
I had Pirelli Scorpion STR-a's on my 04 Pilot, they were OK, inexpensive, better than stk
