Between the Seats and the Cetner Console - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have the hardest time vacumming up all the crap thats ends up between the front seats and the center console. I use a wet/dry vac with a skinny crevice tool but it is not long enough or thin enough to get alll the way between the seats and center console. Any good ideas on how to clean there?

Thanks

There are some ideas in this link. One of the ideas that someone suggests is using a paper towel roll as an extension to your vaccuum hose.

Maybe I will try the upright vac we have for the house. It has a much smaller hose than the Wet/Dry vac and then maybe I can finally get to all those lost breath mints.

I was shocked the other day when I looked there on my wife's Pilot. I'm the chief detailer and always thought that I did a darn good job detailing the car. Yikes, that area is a cr*ap hole!!!!!!!

I'm going to use a piece of tygon tubing (small diameter clear plastic tubing) on the vac to get in there. Tape a coat hanger to the tubing to keep it straight while vacuming. Wrap duct tape on the tubing till it gets to the proper outside diameter to fit snugly in the end of the vacuum hose.

Good to know that the Navy has taught me something in 21 years!!!

Hee Hee! That was a good/bad thing about the ENORMOUS console on the Pilot....LOVED that big console, but drop something between it and the seat, and you were pretty much screwed.

I seem to recall using the narrow sweeper tool for my shop-vac, but going in from the rear seat area, to clean that up....picking up several pens, fries, pennies, toll receipts, etc.
