Ive got a few questions...
Why DOESNT the Pilot....vs. the Odyssey
* have dual A/C controls for both passenger and driver on the dash or elect. voice comand.
* have dual seat settings (driver 1, driver 2)
*gets 1 MPG more or the same as Odyssey, (they have the same engine)?
*have electronic trunk opening.
Just currious if any one knows?
Thanks,

MPG is probably due to AWD. Some of the 'luxury' features you mention might be found on the Acura MDX (not sure, haven't driven one lately). The Pilot is the basic 'economy' version of the MDX. No Acura 'luxury' version of the Odyssey. |

| The pilot dosn't get as good mileage as the ody because of arodynamics, and the fact that the pilot's transmition is geared different for better towing capability....Also the ody has a newer design which means a few better features, the pilots basic design is from 2002.... |

| Also, if you get a pilot with navigation, like I do, you get the voice command for the a/c and other stuff.....and my wife has an ody with navigation to and has the same voice command feature.... |

| Oops, I was wrong about the AWD and the Pilot's gas mileage in comparison to the Odyssey. IIRC the Pilot has about a 1 mpg difference between the AWD and 2WD versions, but here Honda advertizes the 2WD Pilot as 22 mpg and the Odyssey at 25 mpg, though the †† footnote appears to be missing. |
