I'd almost forgotten about this thing. It was shown at an auto show a year or two ago.
Many of us shopped the Freestyle/Taurus X against the Pilot, but this is slightly different. Will be interesting to see more specs on the size etc of this vehicle. |

On my way to work this morning, I saw a 2009 Ford Flex on the road. It was a black Flex Limited. It certainly is interesting looking. I personally am not excited about the styling. Perhaps this will be one of those vehicles that is at first considered ugly, but then later becomes recognized as leading a major styling change throughout the industry.
It had a manufacturer license plate, so it was most likely driven by a Ford Exec or Engineer. Both Car and Driver and Automobile Magazine have offices here in Ann Arbor, so that could be a possibility too. |

Back to the square box station wagon look. Next innovation will be the addition of wood panel siding...........:D |

| I like the looks of this vehicle. I also like the Scion Xb and Honda Element. Put wheels on a washing machine and I guess I'd like that as well :-) |

| i like it, too. the interior looks surprisingly comfortable and upscale. that 3rd row looks like it would be a chore to fold down (look at all those ropes you have to pull!) seems a little pricey though, with the limited awd starting at ~$38k |
