Michelin LTX Update - Click HERE for Original Thread
TRACI
After spending the day driving through the near blizzard conditions in Cleveland Ohio today I had to write an update on these tires. (LTX m&s) The tires and car performed flawlessly in all the conditions I faced today. I live in the heart of the snow belt and the roads today were as bad as I have seen in a long time. The thing that amazed me most was that the tires now have 42,000 miles on them and they still performed great. When I got home I checked the tread depth out of curiosity and I had 9/32 of depth. I will definitely buy these again.

The mileage people get from LTX's is truly unreal, especially given how well they perform. I know several people who have gotten well over 100K from a set.

Glad to see others are having the same success with the LTX's.

My only comment after living with 2 sets on the Pilot - make sure you find the 104S rated tires and not the 107S rated tires. While the 107's may be rated for more load, their tread is narrower and the rubber compound isn't as grippy in the winter for some reason. My experience on the 04 Pilot with the 104S rating was much better than the 107S's on my 06 Pilot. I'm not displeased, just not as happy!
