I'd like to get a hitch for my 07 pilot. I'm of the understanding that I need to buy the Honda hitch/coolers etc and have it installed by my dealer in order for it to be covered under warranty. My dealer is charging an insane amount for the stuff and the work, so I'm shopping around. To anyone who may have recently been in the same boat, have you found anything cheaper than what I found at www.handaaccessories.com? I'm looking, but not finding anything. Thanks.

| I would just get the Power Steering and Trans Cooler from Handa. and buy the hitch somehwere else. you could save about 50 to 75 bucks if you get it somewhere else. Other than that you are pretty limited. |

Honda requires the coolers to be installed for warranty coverage whilst towing (versus just carrying bikes). I don't think it's mandatory that a dealer do it. Of course, you'd want to ensure that the coolers are installed properly. There are a few posts from members who've installed the kit themselves.
