I searched the forums and didn't find anything so here's the question.
will the running boards off of an 05 fit an 07?
I would think so but wanted to ask the wise forum folks. Also, does anyone know if you can buy just the front splash guard...to give it the integrated look of the new running boards??
just bought an 07EX-L this time - decided to stick with the old body style vs. new one. I hope the actual vehicle is as ugly as the pictures (beauty is in the eye of the beholder -so don't flame me).

I think they will fit. The underpins holes are the same.
I assume you are referring to the Honda OEM boards. |

I would suggest you check the fitment guide of whichever running board you are buying. It will indicate what years the boards fit. |

I don't know what the differences are, but websites list the fitment as 2003-2005, and 2006-2008 as different part numbers. The newer series has a "C" on the end apparently.
No clue what is different. |

The mounting brackets are different. (different part numbers, see installation instructions to compare) I'm not sure if the height/ width offset are different but when I traded my pilot, I asked for them to transfer my stepboards to the new one. The dealer offered to change it with an '06 - '08 stepboard instead, (less hassle, laborwise) added a few more $$ and they switched it with runningboards. ;)

| thanks for all the info... talked to my local stealer and he says no way will the old ones fit...but I can give a deal on the OEM honda boards for 525!! I think I paid 400 for the old ones and i would think the new model 08.5 or 09 are totally different-so some mark downs? |
