http://www.socalmotorsports.com/products/productID/2025
And enter this discount code: YTSG2 when checking out. Orders being delivered to California will have sales tax added to the total. Those lucky ones outside Cali will have the SG2 shipped for the price of $149.95. Those of you living in Canada will need to contact john@socalmotorsports.com and supply him with your complete address so that he can give you a shipping quote.
Once again, this GB is only good until the end of the month, March 30, 2008, so get your butts in gear!
If John hits 10 orders on this he'll include a $10.00 credit on a future purchase from SoCal Motorsports (eBay orders not included).
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact john@socalmotorsports.com, thanks. |

| Has anyone used the above link? Also, any other gauges considered by anyone? Is the Scanguage II the best bang for the buck? I want to get one but want to make the best buying choice....I am willing to take a shot. |

| The site is currently down for some reason, I've contacted John about this, but have yet to receive a response.... hopefully by Monday it'll be fixed. And yes, IMO, the SG2 is the best bang for the buck. |

According to Linear Logic:
"Unfortunately we do not have a list of what sensors are in which vehicles. Most automatic transmissions seem to be equiped with a temperature sensor tied into the OBD2 system. For now we do not have the Honda vehicle specific codes, so this will be available in the future. Hopefully in the next couple months. Any person with a ScanGauge with verstion 3.14 or later will be able to just enter the Honda codes then they can view transmission temperature and anything else that is tied into the OBD2."
So not now, but maybe later... |

Got mine yesterday...Way cool...easy to hookup...There are a few readings that your dash will tell in a larger format. Why look at the digital RPMs when you have a tach right there? I really needed this in college with my '73 Super Beetle; one speedo and a couple idiot lights. Not a lot of info on that dash!
Real time MPG is very illuminating in regards to driving habits. Battery voltage is nice to know. There are a slew of other things that I haven't tried yet so I am still learning. Expensive toy for sure, but, if I save a few trips to the dealer with my three vehicles or at least diagnose something it will be well worth it. I know you can go to an auto parts store and they will pull a code for you, but I would rather do it on my schedule in my own driveway. That convenience is worth a few dollars right there IMO. Cheers!

| Once the codes are available for the Pilot from Linear Logic, you can just input them into the ScanGauge. More info can be found at scangauge.com. |

good price, but I believe it comes without the CAT5 cable though. |

A few of the reviews say "the cable is too long". I think the cable they sell separately is so you can put it in a couple of different cars and just unplug the cable from the back instead of the obdcII port.
Anyways, the price has changed and is back to 160. |

Seriously, anyone who has on please tell us what vehicles you are using it on and is it cool enough or not? |

| mounted to the top of the steering column using the included velcro. I don't use every output reading that it is capable of supplying. It is cool to monitor your battery and realtime MPG. I guess the real "handiness" will come in when the Pilot throws a code and I can read it before going to dealer. It may shorten up diagnosis time and save me some $. Perhaps, it is like buying an umbrella (you buy it and it won't rain) and my Pilot won't throw a code for a while. 71K and the only dash light that came on was TPMS on a cold night in Feb. So far so good. I think I bought mine with $150 with free shipping a while back. If you have a couple extra bucks burning a whole in your pocket, go ahead and pick one up. You can use it on any (newer) car in your stable. Not much good for my '74 Hi-Lux! but all other cars it will work (maybe not Volvo, however). Cheers to all! :D |
