My wife scuffed the front passenger side rim when she misjudged a curb. The scuff is about 2" long and is on the narrow band that runs along the outside of the rim.
Can this be repaired? If not, how much should I expect to pay for a new rim, and will the new rim already have TPMS installed?
I am thinking about converting the scuffed rim into a full-size spare, but am not sure if a full-size spare will stow away properly. Any help will be appreciated. |

| Yes, there is a company who repairs rims. Their name is Transwheel and the phone number is 800-892-3733, they are located in Illinois. Try giving them a call. |

| several members have full-size spares and i've read that it fits perfectly fine. i think the space in which the spare is located is also where the full-size tire would go if you ever got a flat. |
