I would like to install a hitch for use to carry bikes only, so I would not need the coolers, etc. However, the Honda dealership I bought the car from said that they will only install with the coolers because if I don't have them installed I am risking my warranty. Is this true? Anyone have Honda install a hitch without the wiring?

Honda even sold it without the coolers for just that purpose.
Tell them that is BS and find another dealer. |

You have a few options:
1) find a good/better dealer
2) buy it on-line from Tim at honda accura world and install it yourself or have an independant mechanic install it
3) go to a local hitch place and have them install an aftermarket hitch
