I swapped out my front and second row seats for EX seats, so I have the original seats available. The seats have only about 1000 miles on them, they have been in the garage and need to go.
Make an offer, we can work out the shipping |

Also, please add your location to your profile as it would make it easier for people to estimate shipping, or even set up local pickup. |

I'm considering doing this swap as well to get leather in my wife's 06 LX. I was going to just trade for an EX but it appears the bottom has fallen out of trade-in value so I'll just keep it and mod it! How hard was the swap and where were you able to find seats? Was the power seat wiring there to plug and play?
Good luck with the sale!
thanks!

Actually, swapping the seats is pretty easy. The mounts are identical between the LX and Ex, so you can just pop off the bolt covers, unbolt the old seats and bolt in the new ones.
Make sure you do not turn the ignition on while doing this job or the air bag sensors will need to be reset by a dealer.
As far as the power for the drivers seat, the LX does not have the wiring in and I had to get that done. It was about a two hour job for my local Honda non-dealer. There needs to be a realy added to the circuit to protect the power.
There is a position of the relay in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side.
I may be able to find the wiring diagram I got for that or find a service manual.
Good luck with the swap. |
