Well, I don't think you can use the fog lights "in place of" headlamps during night driving, and I have no intention to do that. But I think it is legal to just use fog lights when you encounter fog during daytime. In my other car, the fog lights can be turned on as long as the markers (not headlamps) are on. I have also seen other drivers with just the fog lights on.
I did a search and found some fog light installation instruction/diagrams. I did not see anyone has done the rewiring (maybe I didn't do my search right). |
