Equalizer Purchasing Advice - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have a 2003:
-would like to add an external equalizer/booster (maybe 20-60 watts) that would most likely sit in the back of the center console and I would control from there. I like the option to plug in an Ipod in the front (don't have an Ipod).

Not looking for an audiophile solution. Just a little more volume and the equalizer option with an input jack. I replaced the stock speakers.

I don't want to replace the head unit at this time.

Suggestions appreciated w/a link if possible.

Best Regards,

I'm not sure who makes those units anymore....I haven't come across one since the late 80's :D

You would do a lot better with a new radio that has a built-in EQ and integrated iPod controls. You can find these types of units for well under $200. Check out Crutchfield or your local car audio shop to see what's out there. Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and JVC all make units close to $150 that has the features you're looking for.
