Looking to get an installed Honda Tow Package form My 2008 Honda pilot.
Installed seems to be about $1400.00 CDN ( US at par so about the same)

Anyone got a package installed in the US? I might just have to drive to Washington state. It seems a bit excessive up here.

Any aftermarket solutions?

If you want to save some money, install the tow package yourself. Here is a link to my install, http://www.hondapilot.org/forums/sh...=&threadid=7646

If you are look at aftermarket, many have installed Uhaul.

I got the entire towing package installed including the coolers for $700 at the time of purchase.

You can sit for an afternoon at Honda & pay them $1400 or just do it yourself. IMHO there are much better tranny coolers out there than Honda's lame tube with fins...I use one similar to this...theres one here http://www.etrailer.com/p-HH41310.htm , just google it or check ebay. Hitch alone is $450 in Canada......$200 in US....WHY????? Is honda hitch really better? do any use all 4 frame holes??

I bought the Hitch Package(Coolers, Hitch & Wiring) from Tim (HondaAcuraWorld) for just under $700 and had it installed at a Honda Dealer(Honda of Lisle, Il.) for $300.
I was going to give it a try to install myself but I'm glad that I didn't. They did a real clean job.
Good Luck
