Hi
Got a new pilot EX-L with Navi last weekend. Have been reading this and the accessory forum all week. Going to get my USA spec ipod adapter done(was going to do it myself-but have an audio shop that will do the whole thing for not that much more).
Ordered the running boards, cargo tray and rear splash guard on hondaacuraworld.com, hope to install them next weekend. The pics and advice on the thread should help.
Was thinking of the catch all mats, but I live in So California, where it neither snows nor rains, so I guess the factory mats should be ok and save me some money too.

There's definitely something wrong with your user account. Your user name and other info does not display with your posts and I cannot find a jvidhun in the member list.

I do not find your login name any where. Did you also register under the name "jay77"? If so, was that before or after you registered as "jvidhun"? You cannot have two login names. Did you receive an email from HP.org? |

So thats why we are having those wierd guest accounts post.
Colorider, I suspect the account file became corrupted to recent new users and that you may have to delete the two accounts opened by the poster so that he can set up an account that works! |

I am probably having an issue with my account also. My username is androo79. The last post I made showed up as a guest and I cannot access parts of the site. |

I don't see your name on the member list either. The only way I was able to tell who you guys are is to click on the Quote button of your post and see what name appears. |

I registered on 5/6/08 and I did receive an email. I activated my account like it said too. I have been in contact with the support staff but I am waiting to hear back from them about this guest issue. |

HesI re-registered as jay77 from jvidhun. I think that with the server crash the account didnot setup properly. Seems to beok with this new username.
Hopethis works. Got the USA spec installedtoday. Works well. Noticed the hissing noise but cant hear it with ipod playing. Just one of those thingsyou got tolive with. Am getting therunning boards and splash guards from Tim,should be here next week.

It looks to me as if you will need to re-register (as jay77 had to do). Still not sure why we had the problem, but hopefully these are isolated cases and we will not have the problem when we get on our new server.

Here's a pic of the car. Thought I'd post it after installing running boards, but dont think I'll get to do that till memorial day weekend.
The usa spec adaptor works fine. Very faint humming sound when turned off and engine on but for the most part disappears with the ipod on.
The car came with an Ego Talk blue tooth hands free system. Had to pay some for that although didn't initially want it, but with the new law coming into effect in CA this summer, should be a worthwhile investment. Works well.
Haven't been to the gas pump yet, but I guess its ok. The space is worth it.

...just a thought.
You mentioned you didn't need the catch-all mats because you live in Socal and it doesn't rain or snow. That may be so, but if you ever go to the beach or have kids you'll wish you had them. The sand can be brutal on your interior. Let's not even start on the Starbuck or sticky juice spills. |
