I actually have the Motorola HF820 in the Pilot, as my wife wouldn't let me hard wire an HF850 like I have in my VW. It works reasonably well if the same person is going to use the device all the time, but it can only "remember" one phone, IIRC. From a usability standpoint, it works well for what it is.

I have the 820 also and it works pretty well. Haven't used it in a while since I have a BT module for my Z1 but I remember that the sound quality was pretty good -- much better than a phone's speaker phone -- and it never suffered from echo like the Z1 occasionally does.

I wonder if the sound quality is on par with the OEM bluetooth ones in like the ones in the MDX.

Parrot Minikit is far superior in sound quality.

Parrot makes the best bluetooth kits (and the bluetooth modules used by many OEM's).

Their website is:

Crutchfield sells a several of their products, as well as a plug and play wiring harness for many vehicles.
