Hi, I'm new here.I found this site because I was trying to put new co ax speakers in my wife's 2005 Pilot this weekend and Crutchfield said it takes 6.5", but when I got in there, they didn't fit. The speaker wouldn't fit the adapter and the speaker itself would not fit in the door with out the adapter. What gives? What size speakers have you guys been putting in? Do you have to modify the doors alot?

| You'll get lots of recommended speakers that are proven to fit if you do a search using the word speakers. |

| You can either make/buy some spacers to replace the plastic spacer that the original speakers fit in, or modify/cut the original spacers so your new speakers fit into them. I ended up using 1" or 3/4" (I can't remember exactly) MDF spacers to put my JL Audio speakers in both front and rear. |
