How about something like this?

(4 way lug nut wrench)

I'm speaking about the "crank" that you use to pull the spare tire up underneath the truck. I think it stripped gears and is stuck half way up. It's one complete assembly, from a 19MM head in the rear cargo area, to the gear collector that mounts underneath the truck, to the shaft output that extends to the middle of the underside that pulls the tire up and down. I need that whole assembly. As i said mine i believe has stripped gears or something has broken inside and it appears to be a one piece unit, possibly revited together, and i'd rather not tinker with it if it was possible that someone wasn't using theirs for whatever reason or if they knew of a junked pilot on the way to a junk yard. It can't get much worse so i guess i will take mine apart, but if someone knows of this unit that i'm speaking of and possibly has one, i'm all ears. Thanks!

DOH! Maybe a junkyard/"pick your part" would be a good place to look...

Been trying locally already. Just thought someone might know of one? Thanks.

Not really sure what this is or if it helps, but it seems there was some kind of TSB about the hoist for an 05.

That article isn't about an issue (TSB or recall) with the hoist but an update to the techs that there's a new one for the '05 Pilots (I've attached the page from that ServiceNews Article).

Good luck!
Larry.

Yea i saw that in a little bit of my research. I guess they didn't want the possibility of people using power tools on their cranks. As i said i think i'm going to try and take mine apart to attempt to fix it. Hopefully it's just a pin that popped out or something that possibly could be fixed. It just feels like the gears aren't lining up, not that it's actually stripped. Who knows, thanks for the help guys, still open to any suggestions or anyone with one they are willing to sell. Thanks!
