Running Board Install - Click HERE for Original Thread

Recieved my running boards few days agao. Had a couple of issues with the install.

Thx to all the previous posts re running boards, helped with install.

Have the left one on.

Issues

1. Plastic piece on front which replaces the front splashguard is not on flush. I need to look at it tomorrow morning again. There is an L shaped piece of metal on the front plastic piece which is supposed to attach to the body with a screw, this doesn't seem to have a good place to fit.

2. My drill has nos. 0-30 on it which I assume is a torque setting. At torque of 20 the nuts are somewhat tight, but seem to able to tighten them more with regular wrench. Are they supposed to be like this (not fully tight) at 20 torque.

On with the other board tomorrow. Hopefuly learnt some lessons from one side and will be easier!!

Thx

Your drill IS NOT a torque wrench.

I doubt the 0-30 marking are anything more than reference marks.
