First of all, I wanted to say hi to everyone. I joined yesterday and have found great info already regarding accessories.
I bought an '08 EX-L 4wd. It is Nimbus Grey Metallic w/ grey leather interior. I bought it with the mud guards, wheel locks and cross bar (roof rack). I paid $26,500 before TTL.
I will be purchasing floor mats and a cargo cover. |

WeatherTech floor mats or liners? There's a BIG difference! In my opinion, the OEM all weather mats are better than the WeatherTech floor mats. The WeatherTech floor mats, depending on your year of Pilot, may need to be trimmed to fit your floor (they need trimming to fit an '06). By trimming them you open up those channels that are supposed to hold the water, then getting your carpeting wet. But, the floor liners are year specific and require no trimming (that I'm aware of).

It is Floor Liners that I meant to say not the floor mats.;)
Mine did not require any trimming.:)

I've decided to go w/ the Weathertech floor liners. For those that have the floor liners (or have seen them), do you think the grey looks better with my color combination or does black look better?

What? Are they out of the purple ones with green polka dots? :-)
I prefer the black personally, just to offset the mass amounts of grey. But I'm no interior designer.

I've got the same color combination in my vehicle and I went with the black floorliners. It looks great! As mentioned, it breaks up all of the grey already in the interior. |
