Hi,

Not sure if this is a problem or if I just need to get adjusted to it.
I just got a 2004 pilot and I love it. The only thing I've noticed so far is that when I apply the breaks, it seems that additional pressure is being applied. I actually feel the pilot jerk (not a big jerk but slight) as it slows even more. Now I know that computers handle a lot of this kind of stuff and I just came from a pick up truck who's breaking is much different. Now is t a problem or am I just being to sensitive?

Thanks

before, but not consistantly enough to be able to show the dealer. Seems like the power brake booster adds more presure than it should at times.

Search on "Grade Logic"

Thanks for the feed back. I thought it might have to do with power brake booster but I'm to much of a newbie to have been sure.
I search for "Grade Logic" didn't find anything (but I only searched the forums which is what I thought you meant).

Thanks again,

Our search sucks.

You might be better using Google, and if you are really good (I forget how) you can use Google to search this site.

Yep.... Did a google and found the thread. The thread was more for going uphills and I notice mine mainly going down hills but still it does explain a lot.

Thanks.

It seems to work best going up hill and be most noticeable going down hill.

You may also want to look at another feature of the Pilot called "brake assist."
This is not just a normal vacuum power booster event, it is a computerized function of the Pilot that is intended to detect when a driver is in a "panic" situation and applies more braking pressure than normal.

The downhill braking was noticed before the Brake Assist was available.

Searching a specific site that is indexed by Google is pretty easy. Just put "site:sitename.com " after the rest of the search items. Here's an example:

"grade logic" site:hondapilot.org
