I use alenza, very quiet inside the pilot with hardly any road noise. |

I'm torn between these two tires. Lots of praise for TT here on the board, but have heard good things about the Alenzas.
Would like to know which wear better/longer, which are quieter.
Think the performance is pretty comparable when reading tire rack reviews. Looks like TT are a little cheaper.

Which Forteras, the HLs, the SilentArmors, or the TripleTreds? Among the GYs, I would probably go with the SilentArmors in Texas for their longer treadlife and since you don't need the special tread characteristics of the TripleTreds for snow and ice. But the Alenzas are also great tires. Can't go wrong with either one. |

I considered the Silent Armor tires, but the negative feedback on tire durability has pushed me towards the TT's. People have commented on short tread life and premature decline in performance. I don't know if noise and poor performance would be covered by the tire warranty. |
