Does anyone know how to fix the front passenger side dash vent when the vent stops going up and down? The center piece is the one that controls all the louvers but when i move it up and down they don't follow suit. If I manually move one of the lower ones they all go up and down
Seems like it may have just came off the track but i don't know the best way to fix it. |

I can't remember how mine worked in my '04, but when that happened to me, it wasn't repairable. I just ordered another one (hello Hondacuraworld) and popped it in. I seem to remember it being relatively inexpensive (< $20).
For some reason, passengers just love to put their feet on these things and, being made of plastic, they break rather easily. |

Thanks.. I guess I'll take it to the dealer to see if they will fix under warranty if not I'll order the part and install myself.
I wish I could find the instructions on how to uninstall that part. |

Oh yes; i forgot that part. the first 2 broken vents (rear seat) were replaced for free under warranty. The last one (front passenger) was my cost.
They know these are flimsy parts, and they replace them all the time... |

Just contacted HondaAcuraWorld and they said "I'm sorry but we only sell auto accessories. You might want to try the
dealer or your local auto parts store." |

Did you try your local dealer to see if it was covered under warranty? |

I'm going to the dealer later this week to see if they will fix under warranty. If not I'll have them price out the labor and parts. |
