HP.org continues to grow and we have more new members every day. We are to the point that we need another active Moderator.

At my request, Tim (hondacuraworld) has offered to help with the moderating duties and I feel he will be a great addition to the Moderator team.

Please join me in welcoming Tim (hondacuraworld) as a new Moderator at HondaPilot.org!!!

LOL, Sorry, I don't do "moderation"!

Hey Tim, what about a "news of the day" forum, since Current Events is a bad word?
tangotango99
Tim, Tim Russett was from your area and was a very competent reporter and may he RIP. I did stay in Williamsville from 1966 till 1978 I will look you up in late August.
Sunday Rider
Congratulations TIM

Great to have you do this thankless job.

Yeah, me too. My youngest is graduating high school on June 24th, so couldn't make it this year. I will try for next year though.

Ride safe and take lots of pictures this time! Not like Alaska!;)

hondacuraworld
Well, hey, I'm here in the sandbox with youse guys every day as it is, so why not handle the barely legal teens trying to save us alll money on car insurance and cell phones? ;)

Incidentally, I could use a barely legal teen meself :noteef:

I have laundry that needs to be done, the cat box could use changing, oh, and they have to be able to handle a weed whacker! :4:

Considering your reputation here, I am surprised that same of our single female Pilot owners haven't already hit on you.

Who knows, maybe even some of the married ones!
hondacuraworld
Yep, out of all my years online, I've never been hit on, and I've never got a job offer....although I do have this really neat offer in my email inbox from someone that says they got an inheritence of millions of bucks, and if I just give them my banking information, I'll get half!

Anyone here ever done business with the Banque du Chad? I'm sure they're reputable :)

Maybe we need to put you on ebay?
hondacuraworld

Can't we just stick a prepaid UPS label on your head?
hondacuraworld
Sure, there's enough real estate there, but I come as a package deal.....house, car, van, tractors, project boat, motorcycle.....

If you want laundry done, yard work done, etc, what do you want a teen for? I have a 24 year old daughter (on her own now thankfully) and a 20 year old son (currently at home from college) and I am still trying to teach him what to do when the trash can in the kitchen is overflowing.:3:
hondacuraworld
Yes, but he LIVES there.....that's the difference ;)

Wow....either business is good, the cost of living is incredibly low in upstate NY, Tim is related to the owner, or Tim has rich relatives.

hondacuraworld
Okay okay okay......you forced me to do it ;)

The house

The car and van

The motorcycle

The boat

Camper

Tractor (one of them ;) )

I'm not rich by ANY stretch of the imagination. But, I've been blessed with two skilled hands that can, and have, rebuild about darn near anything......from pinball machines to a Ford Skyliner retractable hardtop switch and relay assembly that I engineered. Even the television that I use, I built :)

My van's old, my camper's old, but they look decent, are clean, and functional. That said, if I had a new truck and a fifth wheel, it wouldn't change the camping experience one bit.

Yes, it's a bit slow today ;)

Come on girls. He can fix anything and he is good with his hands.

What more do you want?

I am shocked!!!

None of those possessions say "Honda" on the side...
hondacuraworld
When I bought my Mustang, there wasn't a Honda to be found here under 20K. Even used at auction, they were going for more than retail.

Of course, if I could have waited, I could now be driving a Pilot or MDX as we've got a few :(

The one thing I wish I had was a Honda Big Red. My Yamaha YT125 I've done absolutely everything to, but I have to tell you that Yamaha makes the tin-canniest engines I've ever seen. A one piece connecting rod in the motor. That designer should have been shot

Honda always takes the extra step to do things right, I worked on a Fourtrax 250 and it impressed the heck out of me. Unfortunately, the brand name of the things that have crossed my path hasn't always been in my control......this thing I picked up for $100 as a cheap thing so I could ride with my son, but then as I started to do little things to it here and there I realized how hillbilly'd up it was, and of course, had to pull and redo the whole motor, then new tires, then brakes, then.......

You still need a Honda product:D .
hondacuraworld
I had a 2001 CR-V, but ended up selling it because it wouldn't pull the boat or camper. Cumulative effect :)

WAIT!! I DO have a HONDA! I forgot, I just ordered a new carb for her, too!!!!

I've got one just like this!!
