| DVD screen black and white, help!

Hello. We have a 2005 EXL and our DVD screen is almost black and white on all DVDs now. There is little color (almost sepia sp?). The dealer says "it is probably the screen" and that will cost $950. Probably? They have no idea...I'm a little miffed they couldn't better diagnose.
My question here...does anyone know of such a problem? My next step is to get a DVD laser cleaner or something like that. I'm not paying $1K for a new screen, it's not worth it.
Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Hmmm...duh. You are right! Thanks! I completely overlooked the obvious...so did my dealer! :mad: Unless you spend time in the back seat with the remote you'd never know that there were display settings. I feel like an idiot but I'm glad it works!

| If you have problem and still under warranty, dealers can't find a thing but if you over warranty then they can fix it with BIG charge. So much of dealers huh |
