First of all, I would never had been able to do this without this forum, so thank you to everyone who posted their howtos about how to install electronics in your Pilot. Special thanks to Edog and Fireflock. I followed your guides step by step and could not have done this without your guidance.
My Pilot is a 2005 EXL with the following:
Vizualogic headrests
Jensen VM9312 dvd player
USA Spec ipod interface
I kept the factory head unit because it's easy to use and connected to the steering wheel controls.
Now here's the sad news: the reason I finally got around to installing this is because I need to sell the pilot. So just as I've completed my dream car, I can't keep it. I'll post it in the classified soon. |

View of the console. I replaced the in-dash cd changer with the dvd player
Below the console, you can see the "medialink" for sound and video input. There's a special ipod cable for the dvd unit, but I prefer connecting it directly to the box in the glove compartment.
I bought the dvd from crutchfield and they sent me some different mounting brackets. One fit really well. I drilled three little holes in it to make it fit with the stock units. |

| The USA spec ipod/aux input. The sound from the dvd player is connected through here. |

| Just like Edog, I tried to hide all cables and I'm very happy with the professional look. The Vizualogic switch box is located under the driver seat. |

| The two remotes. The one on the left is for the screens in the back. You only need it to turn the screens on and off. The one on the right is for the dvd player, but the screen is a touchscreen, so you don't really need that either. |
