Hi all, figured I'd post here:
Looking for a Pilot EX-L in Northern California. Here's my wish list:
2006 preferred, but will consider 03-05 too, with sunroof.
Silver (1st), Sage/Grey (2nd), White (3rd)
Under 60k with maintenance records
Tow package a huge plus
Navigation a plus too
Don't want RES.
I'd like to keep it around 16-20, depending on condition and features.

| No OEM sunroofs in '03 and '04. Not sure about '05. Do a search and you'll discover a lot of people who put in aftermarket roofs had problems. Some didn't but a lot did. Just sold ours to a real good friend. '04 EXL w/ navi, leather, 30k miles for $17k. |

| Thanks for the response. I ended up getting a silver 05 EXL today with 23k miles. Looking forward to setting it up. |

If you don't mind me asking, where and how much did you end up paying for the vehicle? I am in Nor Cal and looking for a pilot with the same exact specs as the ones you listed except in Black, sage, or white... |

I put an aftermarket roof in my '03. I've also read a LOT of posts here, and don't recall any significant complaints about problems. I do remember people who didn't have sunroofs or have them put in whining about how they'd leak, but I just don't recall the problems you speak of.:confused: |

| I was mainly referring to leaking. I recall some had issues with the manufactures as well because of the correct fitment. The Webasto 743's appeared to have the best success rate. I believe the install company also played a big role in a successful outcome. |

Bought it at a small dealer in the east bay for 18. I'm amazed at how cheap these are going for, same with the MDXs. It's 'good' condition. I couldn't pass it up with the low miles. There are a ton of sage's around on CL. Seems to be a glut of 05 lease returns out there. |
