| Have you tried disconnecting the battery cables and re-connecting? That might reset the light. Make sure that you have your codes for your radio & navigation if you do that though. Otherwise you will be up a creek like I was about 1 week ago. |

| I tried disconnecting one lead from the battery but it didnt do anything. I was wondering if I needed to disconnect both leads? |

Should not make a difference.
My guess is the float is stuck. |

I would maybe try washing the tank out with a garden hose, but that is just a guess.
Maybe start with finding out if the float is really stuck. |

| Can you see or feel a wire going to the windshield washer fluid tank? If so, disconnect it. I'm guessing that it uses a normally open switch that closes when the fluid level gets low. Removing the wire should result in an open circuit. |

| Disconnecting it won't fix the float, but it will make the light go out. If the light goes out, it's a good indication that the float or level indicator is stuck. If it remains on, then there is probably a wiring issue. |

| is the wire easily visible looking down from above the washer fluid tank? Any idea where it may be exactly? |
